Do you want a little more art in your life?
Join us for monthy art class as your schedule allows. The foundations for art are to learn to draw realistically and creatively and to be exposed to good artwork. I believe every individual can learn to draw with confidence and enthusiasm. Each monthly session will have a different drawing or watercolor focus.
We will meet as a small group in my home at the base of Paris Mt. in Greenville, SC. I will send a map to my exact location once you register.

2-3pm for beginner and intermediate teens and adults
We will cover several basic drawing oberservational techniques that I and other artists use every time we draw. They are essential to realistic drawing.

What will campers learn?
I will introduce some basic realistic drawing skills that we will use to complete a larger piece throughout the week.
We will play drawing games as a group to improve observational skills.
I will introduce an artist a day through story book form.
Campers will have several Art Challenges to complete during the week at home to bring back for a prize.
In what ways will my children progress in art?
They will gain a greater appreciation for good art.
They will learn the patience it takes to make a finished piece.
They will experience the fun of exploring and playing drawing games while improving their drawing observational skills along with their peers.
They will receive encouraging constructive feedback on their art.
They will have the opportunity to bring joy to others who see their art.

Please send your child with a spiral bound sketchbook, two drawing pencils (HB and 4B, codes are listed on the back of the pencil), and a working eraser. My favorite local art supply shop is Suburban Paint Co.. Other students found nice pencil sets and sketchbooks at 5 Below, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, and Amazon.
