The land seems fresh with bird twitters, new buds, and wet earth. I’m so thankful for spring. Out of any of the other seasons, it seems the most welcome after the grey of winter. I love the analogies it points to, as well as with our lives. Though we may be in winter, spring is coming. It is sure to come, on this earth or the next. In the pain of this world, He gives glimpses of relief and moments of rest and delight to revive us and remind us of our hope.
For one, these bobbing daffodil tops and breezy pink trees have me smiling. What spring-like refreshments do you notice? Your baby’s cute babble, new tulips out your window, a friend’s revived spiritual life, a relative’s fun birthday party? Aren’t these wonderful and helpful? He will one day make all things new!
Nature, and more specifically plants, have always been a part of my art. It is no surprise that I started my art business in 2019 by painting plants.
